The California Trail Days is a two day event that promotes and celebrates the rich and dynamic historic and cultural heritage of Elko, Nevada and surrounding areas.
Come and experience Native American life ways through demonstrations and crafts, learn about pioneer life on the California Trail by participating in activities and games, take a wagon ride, enjoy live trail music, watch Dutch oven cooking demonstrations, attend a historical musical, learn to throw an atlata, and much more.
Visitors can also enjoy free admission to the Northeastern Nevada Museum and get a sneak peek tour of the California Trails Interpretive Center and see its progress toward completion.
